Welcome back!

Welcome to a new year of Langley Forest School!

Today we were really happy¬† to introduce both new children and a new teacher to our wonderful woods. We explored the site, recapped (or learnt) the rules and boundaries and practised the safety call ‘Sticky Elbows’. Willows class were great at this, quickly learning to stop what they were doing and go to Mrs. Smith to link elbows in a circle. We played in some of the different areas¬† and throughout the morning, became ‘tree detectives’…learning to find and identify Oak leaves and acorns. We all worked together at the end of the morning to create some forest art using the things we had found.
