Special Event - Larches trip to Blakesley Hall

September 2010

In September Larches went on a trip to Blakesley Hall, a rich Tudor merchant's house in Birmingham, to support our topic of the Tudors.

We had a fantastic day learning about life in Tudor times. We saw the Tudor garden growing herbs, vegetables and fruit. We learnt about Tudor cooking, dressed up in Tudor clothes and played with Tudor toys in the upstairs long corridor. We learnt what life was like for the rich and the poor servants.
