Special Event - Celebration Day

25 October 2013

We all joined in with one of Langley’s famous celebration days today. This time we prepared and made some multicultural foods. Needless to say this was enjoyed by all the children (and the staff).

We made chappatis and ate them with dips, exotic fruit salad and cheese on toast (Welsh rarebit). The Foundation department made and ate noodles.

As well as food, the children were able to dress up in Indian clothes and dance to Bhangra music and they made Welsh hats.

Preparing dough for our chappatis.

Carefully rolling out the dough.

Trying different dips.

Cutting bananas for the fruit salad.

Putting cheese on bread for toasting.

Cheese on toast - yummy.
