What a wet day Beeches class had this week!
Despite (and because of) the rain, they had a marvellous time splashing in puddles, playing in the rain and floating paper boats.

It was Beeches last week in Forest School, so to say goodbye to the forest and for the trees to remember them, they made these fabulous faces…
Oaks class worked together to make some Forest School Play-Doh, using the blackberries leftover from blackberry painting last week. They took turns to add the ingredients to a big bowl and then stirred them all together… It was very exciting watching the Play-Doh come together!
Oaks really enjoyed the muddy digging pit today, especially as we found lots of worms…which were studied in great detail! We also went on a bug hunt, and made conker numbers
Acers had asked if they could make some s’mores over the fire for their last session in the forest…so that is what we did! They helped to build the fire using different thicknesses of sticks then all had a go at using the fire striker whilst we waited for the fire to burn down, leaving us with the hot embers to cook on.

The s’mores tasted delicious, with a big marshmallow squashed between a chocolate and a plain digestive biscuit… Yum Yum!
