This week, all of our classes-Firs, Acers and Oaks, have had the opportunity to make these beautiful Autumn mobiles.
Firs had a very full and fun packed morning! They made friends with a small frog, made then painted with mud, made blackberry squish symmetrical patterns on pieces of cotton cloth, made funny faces using autumn treasures, had fun in the music area, enjoyed climbing and balancing and had a great singing session after our snack and hot chocolate!
As well as making their Autumn mobiles, Acers opened up the blackberry tie-dye that they made last week. They stuck them onto card and added a stick to make these fabulous flags…

Oaks are really starting to settle into our Forest School routines and are exploring the site with much more independence now. They had a fun morning making footprints using blackberry juice and mud, cooking with herbs and flowers in the mud kitchen, making mud paint, and finding all their favourite places to explore and play. We saw some super sharing play too, taking turns and pushing one another  on the swings and hammocks.
